Instead of replacing your carpet or sofa, why not have them cleaned. I am a professional carpet and upholstery cleaner and have been trading for many years.
Firstly when I attend your property I will carry out a survey with yourself where you can address any particular issues you have with your carpet or upholstery and I can bring to your attention anything I see.
After the survey I will vacuum your carpet or upholstery using a commercial vacuum to remove dry soil and then spray with a people and pet safe detergent.
I would then agitate the area to be cleaned using a machine specifically designed to do this task. This brings to the surface any trapped debris.
I then use a hot water extraction system which provides a very deep clean, removing any stains, soils and odours. It can help in lifting the pile of the carpet too.
Your carpet and/or furniture will be left clean and smelling fresh.
